Off to a fresh start!!

I want to make this a healthier time for me and mine.  With all this good stuff I'm going to try my hand at Homemade Washing Powder.  Are you doing anything out of the ordinary for 2011?

I made this a few years ago.  Every year a ball or two falls off, but everybody likes so it goes back up.

I finally got the tree up.

I wish I had the light that goes with it.  Next year I'll have different color balls.

I love Santa ornaments.  Do you have a favorite kind of ornament?

What could it be?

Could a memory be so obvious?  This tree was in my husbands home when he was growing up.  I found it in the clean up and wouldn't let it go into storage.  I remember this kind of tree in my childhood.  Did you have the same tree?  The tree with all its shine and the smells that came from the kitchen.  Now these are my memories.
